While there is now a brand new kitchen counter, island, and set of appliances, overall kitchens are still sparse. Ideally it would be awesome to have like a feeding trough or something that sims could use, or give them the ability to eat pet food (but both of those things would require animations and scripting probably, and I dont think either exist).
